Heck ye!! If you are wondering why I abandoned our level 4 guild on iRO, a level 91
Crusader, and all the cool weapons and stuff I had before to start all over on a new server (not to mention 9 months playing
iRO non-stop)???
Well, for starters, qRO is 100% FREE while iRO costs like $12.00 a month. iRO has some BS bot enforcement,
where anyone accusing you of being a "bot", you are most likely banned for life. Also, my experience in iRO leads me
to think (and correct me anyone, if this just happened to me and a few folks I know) that Gravity HACKS into accounts and
take expensive items to force you to play more and longer (thus generating them more income) and you are left wondering how
someone hacked into your account. I heard this complaint from many players on iRO and had a similar problem. Please note that
this is my experience and does NOT reflect what Gravity does or does not do. I am not implying anything, but this is merely
a theory I have regarding this "hacking" problem.
Ok nuff said. What are other advantages of qRO?
-Warp NPC: Free service to take you to any dungeon entrance or town for free. Why is this so cool? Well
for one
-Lassie, the dog heals all your HP/SP in towns, so you ain't gotta sit and wait for hours to heal.
-3rd Class does not require a "re-birth at level 99" as you have to do on iRO and then start over from scratch.
At level 90, you can change jobs.
-Advanced Jobchanger lady. This is my favorite... you can do the regular quests to change jobs or talk to
this lady and ta-da!! You get job instanteneously.
-5/5/3: This mean Base/Job/Item Drop are MULTIPLIED by these vs. what you get on iRO. So you get a LOT more
per gaminng hour, making it a more fulfilling experience!
-Juice shop in prontera. Get juices right there and then. ^_^
-Cloth color/hair style/hair color changing service FREE!! WOOT!!
-Multi-rental NPC, where you can rent Falcons, Pecos, or Carts (with appropriate skills) in Prontera! ^_^
-Reset Skill/Stats ladt: This is crazy and cool: when you made a mistake in distributing your points, you
can pay like 60,000 zenny and have the stats/skills reset!! Woot!
-There is a lot more!
Now, don't like the perks above? Fine, qRO has a server that works just like iRO, no Warp NPCs or nothing.
Also, let me point out the biggest downsides of qRO....
-Non-NPC merchants charge a heck lot!!!
-Lots of Brazilians everywhere, and if you don't speak Portuguese, their English is usually not that great.
-Actually, lots of people speaking other languages, and rarely seem friendly to talk to you or answer you.
The Brazilians are better when it comes to that, since they ALWAYS make an effort to speak English if you chat with them.
